On November 25 2015, George Osborne, in his Autumn Statement will present the government’s Spending Review. It is widely expected that this Spending Review will go much further than the one of 2010. In such a turbulent time for housing how will the expected spending reductions impact the sector?

With this in mind Inside Housing and Social Housing are hosting their Spending Review briefing: unpicking what it means for housing and where the opportunities lie. Taking place one week after the statement this Chatham House briefing will drill down into the detail of the review and will give attendees the inside track on how the spending review and recent policy announcements will impact on councils, housing associations and ALMOs. While also looking at what next for the sector? And what opportunities are there?

Confirmed speakers include:

Professor Steve Wilcox, Centre for Housing Policy, University of York
Paul Martin, Chief Executive, London Borough of Wandsworth

This event is free to attend and will take place at Royal Over-Seas League in London between 16:00-20:00.
