Sector’s first governance-linked loan sees margin tied to gender pay gap KPIs

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) and Bromford have agreed a five-year revolving credit facility that will see the borrower pay a lower interest rate if it meets agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) relating to governance – including around the gender pay gap.
