Major London provider sees technology chief exit

According to his LinkedIn profile, he is now a director at Yantra Works. The tech firm was established last month and Mr Peter is the owner and sole director, according to Companies House records.

NHG has appointed former Home Group CIO Keith Woolley as its interim chief technology officer, the spokesperson said. 

Mr Peter’s exit from NHG follows that of Vipul Thacker in December. Mr Thacker had spent around a year as the group’s chief organisational effectiveness officer, which was also a newly created role.

Mr Thacker worked for NHG for around 15 years, including nearly seven years at its predecessor entity Genesis Housing Association.

NHG has seen a wave of senior changes in the last two years, including the recruitment of its first chief governance and risk officer and the departure of its long-serving deputy chief executive John Hughes.

The landlord currently has C3/G3/V2 grades with the Regulator of Social Housing.

It received its first consumer grade in November 2024, but was judged to have “serious failings”. It was downgraded for governance in the same month.

Last April, NHG announced it had agreed a plan with the regulator to regain compliance.

In its last full-year update to the end of March 2025, NHG recorded a widening of its annual deficit to £129m.
