TVH and Genesis allude to costs of abandoned merger

Thames Valley Housing’s (TVH) operating costs rose £2.2m in 2017, mainly due to “one-off merger-related costs” incurred from a nine-month process with Genesis that fell over at the final hurdle. The pair were at the last stages in August 2016 when the merger was halted.
