OBR: housebuilding to reach 40-year high at 305,000 homes per year

The government’s planning reforms could boost housebuilding to a 40-year high of 305,000 homes per year by the end of the decade, or 1.3 million homes in total, the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) has forecasted.
