Spring Statement: sector welcomes new homes funding but warns of welfare cuts impact

The sector has welcomed the government’s additional funding for development, as well as Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) forecasts suggesting housebuilding could reach a 40-year high, but warned of the impact from welfare cuts.
