Ms Sarah Smith

Sarah started her career as an external auditor with BDO Stoy Hayward. Specialising in social housing she moved to KPMG.  She moved on to London & Quadrant Group and then to AmicusHorizon (now Optivo following merger) in 2009.

Her responsibilities include: 

• Internal audit, risk management, assurance, data governance
• Finance, treasury and financial planning
• Procurement
• Commercial 
• Pensions

Sarah currently sits on the ICAEW social housing sub-committee and the NHF’s Finance & Policy Advisory Group.  She has previously chaired the g15 Finance Directors’ Group and was Vice Chair of the NHF’s SORP Working Party up until this year.  

She is a non executive Board member at Dolphin Square Foundation and Reall Limited where she also chairs the Audit Committee.  Sarah is also a member of the Sustainability for Housing Board.
