Pinnacle, which is headquartered in London, has entered three new contracts with local authorities. The new homes under management come from Elmbridge Borough Council (94), Harlow Council (172) and I4B, the wholly owned housing company of Brent Council (76). This includes a mixture of open market and affordable rent homes, as well as temporary accommodation.

The properties under the partnership with I4B span Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Slough, Milton Keynes, Luton and London.

Claire Kober, managing director of homes at Pinnacle, said: “These new partnerships reflect our growing role in supporting local authorities to deliver safe, affordable and well-managed homes.”

Pinnacle owns two for-profit registered providers: Pinnacle Affordable Homes and Pinnacle Spaces. It partners with external providers to support property management.

In the last financial year, Pinnacle entered into partnerships with six for-profit registered providers. These include: MTD, NewArch, Zen, Simply Affordable Homes, Funding Affordable Homes and Preferred Homes.

Hyde, the G15 London landlord, acquired Pinnacle in November 2024, by purchasing the entire issued capital of TStar Pinnacle Limited. The combined group owns and manages 120,000 homes across all tenures, as well as providing neighbourhood services to around 350,000 homes.

Pinnacle still controls its own operations and provides some management services to Hyde.

A spokesperson for Hyde told Social Housing: “Pinnacle winning new contracts supports the vision behind the strategic investment, and generates resources to support Hyde’s charitable purpose. Hyde customers and stakeholders are already receiving services from Pinnacle.”

A Pinnacle spokesperson told Social Housing that the firm was in “active discussions with many providers, including many for-profit registered providers” and was seeing regular approaches from others seeking its management expertise.

They added: “We’re very keen to explore more partnerships with councils and are in active discussions with authorities.”
